Last week was the annual SRC 4 aside carnival and we managed to send in teams for Ngee Ann. I bet everyone tried their best, well done to both the girls team and boys team. One of the girls team managed to get 4th place for the A Division Girls. Congratulations! I only managed to snap some pictures with the girls.
Last wednesday was the first training we had with the freshmen! I hope everyone enjoyed training. Apologies from the hockey committee caused we might have dragged the training a little. It won't happen again! We did some basic before having mini games and ended off with a bit of dodge ball. Thank you to the national dodge ball team for teaching us the whole concept of dodge ball. We definitely had fun and learnt some techniques that is also applicable in hockey. Thanks to those who turned up for training and enjoyed it as much as I did!

Next week training will be as per normal, Monday and Wednesday, 5.30pm-8.30pm at the kismis field! We will be having our Hockey Freshmen Orientation Camp on the weekends! 5 and 6 may, really fun activities have been planned specially for you guys, so we really really hope you guys can make it! Remember to get your indemnity form from Nadiah or Zabid either during training on Monday or meet them in school so that they can pass it to you! You will have to return the forms before saturday as well. You can either return them on wednesday during training or meet them to pass it to them!
PS: Freshmen! Do follow us on twitter at @ngeeannhockey and like our fb page! :)

Hi everyone! We had our hockey graduation camp two weeks ago and it was fantastic!
The committee members met up earlier on day1 of camp to prepare the little gift that are specially for the graduating seniors!

The first activity of the camp, which was also one of the highlights of the camp, Running Man: NP Hockey Edition.
The whole concept of running man was more like a catching game for the seekers and for the hiders, they are supposed to complete a mission before getting caught. It was extremely thrilling and exhausting, but I bet we all enjoyed ourselvesJ
Had dinner at Al Azhar! Headed back to loft for loft games before lights off!

We started day2 with the PAST VS PRESENT game between the alumni members and the current team. It is probably the highlight of the entire camp, as it is the last chance for the current team to play with the graduating seniors. Despite the heavy downpour during the course, it did not stop all of us from playing! Everyone definitely had a good time, and we can't wait to organise another one soon, stay tune!;)
The committee hoped that everyone enjoyed themselves throughout the camp and will like to thank those who took time off to attend the camp and/or the past versus present match.
This camp is something new as we started having it this year, if there are any areas we can improve on, do let the committee members know! We are open to ideas that can help us improve in order to have a better graduation camp in the coming years. Cheers everyone, and happy holiday!!JJJ
PS: Results are out and Ms June would like to know how we fare! Do text me(Gina) or Sabrina your name, student no., cumulative GPA and do state whether you passed all your modules as soon as possible. Your cooperation will be greatly appreciated!J

Latest Happenings
The committee members met up last week to plan for the camp which is happening in 2 weeks time and also discuss on other administrative matters. We even did spring cleaning for the club room (which is located at block 18, level 4).
We will be decorating the club room to make it look extremely attractive, nice, and cozy real soon. Photos will be uploaded once it is done!
Updates on Graduations Camp!Date: 25th Feb - 27th Feb 2012
Time: 12noon on 25th Feb
Venue: School
1. Indemnity Form
In order to stay overnight in campus, we will only require CURRENT MEMBERS to download the form, print it out and fill it up! Pass to any of the committee members ASAP so that we can grant the permission.
Where to download the form?
Step 1: Go to www.npweb.np.edu.sg/dept/sdar
Step 2: Log on with your student no. and password.
Step 3: Click on documents>Loft @ 94 Forms
Step 4: Select the "Indemnity and Permission to Stay Overnight on Campus Form" file and download it. It is in pdf format.
PS: Failure to submit the indemnity form means you are NOT able to stay overnight in the loft! So, do not forget!!!
2. We are sorry to tell you that ALUMNI MEMBERS are NOT allowed to stay for this camp. But we promise that the night programmes will end by 10-11 plus (for the first night only) so that those who don't drive can still catch the last bus home!
We will also require each and every alumni members that are turning up to prepare some form of performance to show case on the last night! There is no theme for the performance, so you can actually do whatever you want, or maybe do impromptu stuff.
3. Packing List
This will be the packing list for the camp, the quantity per item is depending on individuals, as long as you bring sufficient, it is good enough!
4. For alumni members that will not be able to turn up for all 3 days, do not worry! We will be having a PAST VS PRESENT friendly match between the current members and alumni! So do turn up!!! :D
Date: Sunday, 26 February 2012
Time: 2 - 5pm
Venue: CCAB
Kiki have already created FB event for both the camp and past vs present friendly. Do RSVP as soon as possible! Do follow the np hockey account too for latest updates. And don't forget to like our newly made FB Group!!!
