Hi TEAM
So our POL-ITE Boys drew against RP today.
Boys, please take care of yourselves and rest well. We still have 2 more games. Let's press on, play hard and not give up yet okay?
Same goes to the girls. Just two more games girls. If we win SP, we might have a chance at getting a medal this year and I know that no one wants to lose but our team is only as strong as our weakest player. So let's work towards the same goal shall we? (:
Also, a very important thing to note is that hockey is a team sport. Sure, we can have a few good players but that alone is not enough. We all need each other's support. Hence, your commitment is very very very important. There's only so much that Nazri and I can do. At the end of the day, whether you turn up for training or not, whether you turn up on game day itself or not, it really is up to you. Think about the people you'll be letting down. If you have classes, we gave you excuse letters to excuse yourselves from class. If you have attachment or internship, and your boss or supervisor doesn't allow you to leave, then there's nothing we can do about it. If you have work, please make the necessary arrangements. This is not a friendly match or Div 3. This is POL-ITE. Our one and only tournament.
If you're not going to turn up, can you at least be a responsible team player and inform us beforehand? Don't let us find out half an hour before we board the bus and leave the school. That's just not cool okay?
We really need your commitment. It's just for another two games, one on Tuesday, one on Friday. After that, we'll go for a break and you can take a break from hockey. Just two more games okay?
