Hey guys! I hope this post would give you a clear picture on how to get to NIE Hockey's Pitch.
(P.S.: If you're driving, please have a cashcard with you!!)
You can board 199 from Boon Lay Interchange and it'll stop nearer to the hockey pitch.
Estimated journey time; 35 minutes and it's around 11/12 bus stops .
Once you see this on your left, press the bell and alight the bus.
Alight here! Once you alight, turn to your right and walk straight.
& you'll see this slope on your left. Walk up the slope...
& you'll walk pass a street soccer court (eeerrr... I think it is a street soccer court. HAHA!) on your right and you'll see stairs after that. Take the stairs and...
YOU'VE REACHED!

Alternatively, you can board 179 from Boon Lay Interchange. The frequency is faster and journey is shorter than 199 but you need to walk a lil' bit more.
Once you see this sign on your right, press the bell and alight.
Alight here! You should see an overhead bridge aka LOVE BRIDGE.
The bus stop's name is 'Lee Wee Nam Library'.
Once you alight, turn to your right. Walk straight, down the slope and you'll see a zebra crossing on your right.
Cross the zebra crossing and walk straight.
Once you see this, turn left.
You'll see the cashcard top-up station. Go up the stairs to level one.
Walk all the way straight till the end of the building and then, turn left.
You'll see a building called 'UID'. Take the walkway that's nearer to UID (as seen in the picture) and walk all the way to the other end.
You'll reach Block 5. You'll see the lift, and that small sign that says "Block 5". Go down the stairs and....
& you've reached!!

Oh yes! In case you wanna eat or grab something before/after the friendly match, go up the Love Bridge, turn left, walk straight and you'll see McDonalds. There's Subway, Canadian Pizza and Old Chang Kee. If you go one level up, you'll find the food court. & if you're "adventurous" enough, find the Student Activities Centre, and you'll find Starbucks! Don't bother finding NIE's canteen 'cause the food there sucks.
